The 4th Trimester

Don’t put me down!
Babies like to he close to their food source, warmth and affection. I previously spoke about the fourth trimester and this is a pretty good description of how it works!
Babies don’t understand why they have been separated from you and they don’t like it. Remember that you cannot spoil a newborn baby from holding them lots.
Those first few months can be super tough (believe me I’ve been there a few times) but if you are pregnant with your first baby, expect that the initially you won’t get much done other than caring for your newborn.
Try and enlist as much support as you can and prioritise – what really needs to be done at home and what can wait. I find that using a sling to wear your baby can be a life saver at times! .
