The vulva is what we call the external female genatalia. The vaginal opening forms part of that.
Over the years I have had lots of women worry about a baby coming out of their vagina during birth when there is a catheter in there...
My response is always "well actually catheters are inserted in the urinary tract which is a separate hole so no need to worry!"
I thought I would create this image as a reminder to those who know and info for those that don't 😊
