Baby movements in pregnancy

By Marley Henry · 19 April 2019

Baby movements in pregnancy. . Most women will start to feel movements around 20 weeks (as early as 13 weeks for subsequent pregnancies and multiples as I did) but movements wont usually become regular until 24-26 weeks. From that point a pattern usually develops where baby may be more active at certain periods of the day. . As the baby grows, the movements change from flickering/kicking to sliding and rolling instead as the baby fights for space. . I have heard many women say that they have been told the movements slow down in the last few weeks - This is NOT true! If your baby's movements are slowing then you should get checked over by your care provider straight away. That means if you are concerned in the evening that your baby hasn't moved much during the day ,dont wait until the morning before making the phonecall. Don't worry that you are 'wasting' the maternity services/midwives time, you're not! Thats exactly what we are there for. . . . . . . . . . . . . #babykicks #24weekspregnant #babyboy #baby #pregnancy #babybump #daddy #pregnancydiary #firsttimemummy #secondtrimester #ukpregnancy #ukpregnantbloggers #firsttimedad #kickscount #pmuk #firsttimedaddy #mybump #babyboybump #countthekicks #babyprep #midwives #26weekspregnant #mummy #babyfever #fashion #pregnant #thirdtrimester #sleeping #suit #bhfyp
