*** C-section scar numbness ***

By Marley Henry · 21 July 2020

*** C-section scar numbness *** During a C-section, many nerves are transected (cut through) meaning a loss of sensation in that area. For many women this can go on for months. Although in some cases, the sensation returns over time, a large proportion of women will experience small sections of their lower abdomen that will forever be numb to touch. It's a really strange feeling and weirdly can sometimes feel itchy, even though the area is numb if that makes any sense?! If you have had a C-section, did you feel numbness afterwards? If so did it ever go away? . . . #pregnacy #csection #postpartum
