Did you know?

Did you know? There is a purple line (appears silver in women with darker skin) that crawls up your bum during labour. . When it reaches the top of your bum (ie the crack 😁) it usually means you're fully dilated. Cool huh?! . Ive seen this quite a few times in my practice which, along with other indicators, has told us a woman is fully dilated without having to carry out a vaginal examination. It's not evident in all women but there are many birth workers who can vouch for this phenomenon! . . . . . . . . #childbirth #pregnancy #doula #birth #pregnant #birthwithoutfear #newborn #baby #pregnantlife #breastfeeding #maternity #motherhood #naturalbirth #childbirtheducation #empoweredbirth #birthdoula #hypnobirthing #postpartum #laboranddelivery #healthypregnancy #momtobe #midwife #mother #babybump #childcare #newbornbaby #pregnancylife #pregnantbelly #homebirth #homebirth
