Ever heard of couvade syndrome?

Ever heard of couvade syndrome? It's also known as sympathetic pregnancy syndrome.
It's a phenomenon that many people experience when their partners are pregnant, in the form of strange symptoms that occur in pregnancy.
They may feel nauseous, gain weight, experience back pain, bloating insomnia, headaches, cravings and more!!
It doesn't happen to everyone but several studies have looked into couvade syndrome. One study carried out in Poland found that partners who were more sensitive or empathetic towards their pregnant partners, had a higher chance of experiencing it.
It is not a psychological disorder, more a reactive response to the developmental changes that occur during pregnancy.
I wouldn't have believed it was a thing until Tyrone began to crave ice just like me when I was pregnant. We used to both sit with a glass full and crunch 😆
You'll be glad to know that typically the symptoms from the syndrome disappear with the birth of the baby!
Has your partner ever shown signs of Couvade Syndrome? If so, what we're the symptoms?
