Just wanted to post an update on my baby girls eczema as I have received lots of messages asking how things are going! Since posting that pic of her with cuts on her head due to scratching a couple of months back, we have been referred for allergy testing in July. Im not sure if reducing dairy in my diet has helped but we have been using a prescribed cream called 50/50. Its basically 50% liquid paraffin and 50% white soft paraffin. It keeps her skin really soft and moisturised. The problem I was having was getting her nails short enough to stop her damaging her skin whilst scratching. Baby scissors/clippers were useless so I tried The Thumble baby nail files by @thethumble and it did the job! Its just a little gadget you pop on your thumb with a nail file specifically deisgned for babies and away you go. Now when she does scratch, there are no sharp edges to do any damage.
