Maternity leave expectations vs reality. It's easy to imagine returning to work after having a baby, before the baby has arrived.
Once they're here, the thought of returning and leaving your baby can be really difficult to process. My heart goes out to those living in countries where a decent amount of maternity leave is at the discretion of the employer and not written in law. I cannot fathom being forced to return a few weeks after giving birth 😔
