Meghan bravely shared her sad news this morning, that she suffered a miscarriage in the summer.

Miscarriage devastates people from all walks of life, and we are starting to hear from more who are sharing their experiences.

Miscarriage can be lonely, traumatic and for many, leaves lasting emotional scars.

Miscarriage is common, around 1 in 8 that know they're pregnant will miscarry - the true figure may be higher as some will miscarry before they even know they're pregnant.

Pregnancy loss as a whole should not be taboo, by normalising the conversation and grief that is encountered, those who go through may feel less alone.

Is there anyone you know that might need you to ask the question "are you ok?"
