I previously spoke about the fourth trimester and this is a pretty good description of how it works! Babies don't understand why they have been separated from you and they don't like it. Remember that you cannot spoil a newborn baby from holding them lots. . Those first few months can be super tough (believe me I've been there a few times) but if you are pregnant with your first baby, expect that the initially you won't get much done other than caring for your newborn. . Try and enlist as much support as you can and prioritise - what really needs to be done at home and what can wait.
