The advice for when to drive after a c-section varies according to where you are from

The advice for when to drive after a c-section varies according to where you are from. In general, doctors and midwives usually recommend that you avoid driving a car until your caesarean wound has healed and you can brake suddenly without feeling sharp pain. This is usually around six weeks. It’s best to talk with your doctor or midwife about when it’s safe to start driving again. One thing to also consider is the fact that you may be on pain killers that might make you drowsy, depending on how you are recovering. It would not be safe to drive if you are on any such medication. Be sure to check the policy of your car insurance company because some companies won’t cover you if your doctor hasn’t cleared you to drive or if it's been less than 6 weeks since the birth of your baby. . . . . . . . . . #postpartum #drive #csection #bingblood #cesareanburth #cesarean #driving #baby #newmom #naturalbirth #pregnant #positivebirth #baby #csectionmom #csectionbirth #birthphotography #recovery #cesarean #doctor #mom #postnatal #mommytobe #summer #waterbirth #strechmarks #love #love #birthscar #caesarean #newborn
