I did a 'hello' post a couple of years ago and since my page has grown a lot since then, thought I should do another one. I'm also currently voiceless so won't be posting any videos until it returns 😆

I'm Marley, a midwife from Surrey, UK. My main passion is education (if you haven't already noticed), but occasionally I post other stuff. I now work outside of the NHS after dedicating 11 years to it.

Random facts:

⭐️I'm also an aesthetics practitioner

⭐️I have 5 children ranging from 5-24 years

⭐️I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers

⭐️I recently lost over 18kg in weight after having a 40+ check up and being told I was high risk for type 2 diabetes

⭐️I used to play basketball at National level

⭐️I got a B in French GCSE and can still speak a little now

⭐️I have been called 'bob' more times than I have had hot dinners

⭐️I've never left the town I was born in

⭐️I am getting married in Jamaica later this year

⭐️I was diagnosed with a rare incurable skin condition called pityriasis lichenoides in 2014. Its not problematic, just annoying.

⭐️My party trick is the ability to be able to turn my feet backwards 180 degrees so they're facing the opposite direction

Yeah, the last one is a bit weird I know 😵‍💫

I keep myself busy by seeing my pregnant and non pregnant clients, creating antenatal courses with Nowbaby live, working with various organisations to improve maternity care, supporting marginalised groups, and of course, being a mum. That is probably the hardest job of all!
