Have you had two births that felt completely different? If so what were the differences between them?

Pain in general is subjective and hard to measure. There are several factors however, which can affect your perception of pain.

If you have given birth multiple times, you may find differences between them all in terms of intensity and coping strategies. Biological, mechanical and environmental factors along with some interventions can influence the perception of pain during labour and birth.

Remember, no two labours and births are the same. Your birth is your birth!
