I first shared this a couple of years ago to remind you that your experience will be unique to you. What felt right for someone else may not be best for you.

Similarly, when I share information, evidence and stats online, I am speaking in terms of common experiences and averages. If your experience didn't match what I'm saying, that's OK because we don't all fit into boxes right? .

I love hearing and sharing womens birth stories as they are all so different! Ultimately though, the experiences we have will shape our view about childbirth as a whole.

If you are expecting your first baby, research, prepare and even take a birth class, but try not to assume that you might/might not need or experience something simply because of someone elses story 💕 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #hormones #hypnobirthing #doula #midwifery #midwives #studentmidwife #studentmidwives #obstetrics #gynaecology #fertility #labour #childbirth #midwife #waterbirth #homebirth #stress #calm #meditation #yoga #love #beautiful #learn #reproduction #birthplan
