My mum has knitted a huge bundle of teeny tiny baby booties and hats which I will be taking to my local neonatal unit. Some of the booties aren't more than an inch long! These aren't just for the hundreds of preterm babies born there annually but also for the babies that are stillborn. Some couples lose babies at 18, 19 and 20 weeks so there isnt much available to dress them in.
