Cervical Dilatation With Playdough - Labour & Birth | Midwife Marley

I created some home made playdough for my daughter and decided to show you the stages the cervix goes through to efface (thin out) and dilate. It needs to go through these stages to enable the baby's head to pass through. When the uterus contracts strongly and regularly, it causes these changes. Cool huh?!
