One question I'm often asked by women after they have given birth is "will it hurt when I pee after having stitches?" You may find that it can be a little sore in the early days depending on the extent of any perineal tears you may have suffered. One thing that helps many women is to either pee in the shower, using the warm shower water gently on yourself as you go, or to have a jug/bottle of lukewarm water handy.
