Reposting this one again! People will always be more excited to Tell you their negative birth stories. It would be great to see more and more women talking about birth in a positive light as well! . Yes there are emergency situations and issues can arise. Not everone has an easy time in childbirth but for the many women, childbirth is just a normal life event and not an emergency. Everyones birth experience if different and if an epidural was right for you, doesnt mean it will be right for someone else, women cope with pain differently, some births are faster than others. Some baby's sit in awkward positions making labour longer and more intense. Perhaps a waterbirth really helped you but another woman might not feel as comfortable in water - we all experience birth differently and its not negative for everyone. . .
